Abemudro (palm butter or palm fruit concentrate) is the rich, creamy extract from palm fruits used to make palm nut soup — one of Ghana's most cherished dishes. This ready-to-use concentrate saves hours of the traditional process of boiling and pressing palm fruits by hand.

Dilute with water and use as the base for palm nut soup (abenkwan). Add meat, fish, or crab, tomatoes, onions, and seasoning. Simmer until rich and thick. Serve with fufu, rice balls, or banku. Use 1 tin per pot of soup.
