100% frozen bitter leaves (Vernonia amygdalina)
Thaw and wash thoroughly under running water, squeezing repeatedly to reduce bitterness (3-5 washes). Add to Bitter Leaf Soup (Ofe Onugbu) with cocoyam paste, assorted meats, and stockfish. Can also be used in Egusi soup or stir-fried as a side dish. Cook for at least 20 minutes in soup.
