Plantain fufu is a Ghanaian staple made from dried, ground plantain that reconstitutes into a smooth, stretchy dough when mixed with hot water. Lighter than cassava fufu with a subtly sweet flavour, plantain fufu is the perfect partner for light soups and groundnut soup.

100% dried plantain flour

Bring water to a boil. Gradually add plantain fufu flour while stirring vigorously to prevent lumps. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring continuously until smooth and stretchy. Form into balls. Serve with light soup, groundnut soup, palm nut soup, or any Ghanaian soup.
