An Indian fish masala rather than a West African fish seasoning, and the difference is in two ingredients.

Dry mango powder — amchur — supplies a sour note that would otherwise come from a squeeze of lime. Carom seed, ajwain, is the thyme-like spice used with fish across South Asia specifically because it settles heavy, oily flesh. Chilli leads, so this is a hotter blend than it first looks.
Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Dry Mango Powder, Cumin Powder, Iodized Salt, Fennel Powder, Ginger Powder, Cinnamon Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Turmeric Powder, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Carom Seed Powder.
Make a paste with a little oil and lemon juice, coat the fish, and rest it for 20 minutes before frying. Standard for fried fish and fish curry. Because amchur already brings sourness, go easy on extra lime.
